Canton's Condo Market for January 2012

My most recent market update was for the market. Now, I am taking a look at how condominiums are faring.

As of January 19, 2012, there were 29 condominium units for sale in Canton*. The lowest priced condominium for sale in Canton is a one-bedroom, garden-style unit priced at $94,900 and the highest priced unit is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom half-duplex style unit priced at $449,000.  

Looking back at 2011, there were 63 condominiums that in Canton, with a low price of $90,000 and a high of $495,000. The average sales price was $255,703. The average number of days on the market was 124.  

In 2010, there were 79 condos sold in Canton priced from $99,000 to $470,000, with an average sales price of $253,744 and 134 days on the market. While the number of sales are down from 2010, the average sales price is up slightly and the average number of days on the market are down.   

For those interested in condo living, there are numerous options in Canton. There are a variety of styles, sizes and prices. Many are located within walking distance to shops, and , offering the benefits of suburban living with city conveniences.
