Enjoy the Luce School Carnival This Saturday

The Dean S. Luce School Annual Carnival is on Saturday March 2nd.

It must almost be spring because it is time for the Dean S. Luce Elementary School's annual Carnival.

The Luce School Carnival will be held Saturday, March 2nd from 10 am - 3 pm at the school, located on Independence Street in Canton.

A completely indoor event, it is not dependent on the weather. Come on out and enjoy this fun family event!

The carnival is one of the major fundraisers for the school's parent/teacher organization, the Luce School CAPT.  The CAPT provides and supports programming at the school and funds items that cannot be funded through the school budget.  In this tight economic climate, the work of the CAPT is more important than ever.

The Luce School Carnival is a really fun event offering a variety of fun carnival games, face painting and hair beading, crafts, jumpy houses and the ever popular cake walk and candy bar walk.  Food is available for sale in the cafeteria.  And, with the tickets that the kids win playing the games, they can earn fun prizes.

The highlight of the day are the raffle drawings that are pulled at the end of the day.  The Carnival committee has been working hard to put together some great raffles for both kids and adults.  There are always great selections and I am sure this year will be no different.

My kids have grown and are no longer at the Luce Elementary School but for a period of ten years, at least one of my kids was a student there.  I spent many years doing face painting and hair beading at the Carnival and it was always a fun and worthwhile cause.

Come on out & support the Luce School!
