(Canton Alliance for Public Education) is a non-profit organization, run entirely by volunteers, whose mission is to provide funding for those projects and programs in the  that are not able to be funded through the regular school department budget. We all know that these are trying times for municipalities everywhere so the need for additional funding is more important than ever.

Since 2004, CAPE has awarded over $165,000.00 in . The types of programs helped through these grants are as varied as the students who attend our schools and as innovative as the teachers and administrators who educate our students.

Every school in the district and every grade level has received support from CAPE over the years. The programs that they have funded in the past continue to benefit our current students.

CAPE's ongoing support of public education in Canton is dependent on the continuing support of the Canton community - both businesses and individuals. Many businesses have already stepped up to the plate and made generous donations in support of this annual event.

This year CAPE has made it easy both to buy tickets or to make a donation to the event by going directly to the CAPE website and paying online.

Come out and join your friends and neighbors in this annual fun night out in support of public education. I hope to see you there!
