Pie Donations Needed for the Canton Food Pantry

The food pantry is in need of pies for their annual Thanksgiving meal program.

The Canton Food Pantry has sent out their annual request for Thanksgiving pies!

Every year, the Canton Food Pantry provides the fixings for Thanksgiving Dinner to hundreds of its clients who otherwise would not be able to afford a Thanksgiving dinner.

In addition to the regular donations of canned vegetables, stuffing mix, canned gravy and other staples, there is a special call out for donations of pies for Thanksgiving.  Unfortunately, they are not able to accept home made pies so pleas only bring donations of store-bought pies.  If every family who is able could donate two pies, imagine how many pies they would receive!

Each year the residents of Canton come through and hopefully this year will be no different.

Pies may be brought to the Canton High School Cafeteria on Friday, November 22nd between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm or first thing in the morning on Saturday November 23 at 8:00 am.

On Saturday, volunteers from the Canton Food Pantry will hand out the makings for Thanksgiving meals to its clients in need.  Let's help make sure they have enough pies to go with those meals!
