Last Minute Summer Camp Options in Canton
There is still time to sign your child up for fun summer programs in Canton!
School has only been out a few short weeks but if all of a sudden you are wishing you had signed your child up for a camp or two....fear not.....there are still options.
Canton Public Schools summer program, Canton Academy, still has openings. From arts and crafts to robotics there is something for everyone. Canton Academy runs every week, Monday - Thursday through August 8. Space is limited. You can visit the Canton Academy website and view the remaining online courses.
Canton Summer Music Camp is being offered once again by the Canton Public Schools Performing Arts Department. Students entering grades 6-9 who have at least one year of playing experience can brush up on their skills with either Summer Band or Summer Orchestra which runs August 19-23. Download a program brochure from the Performing Arts Department website.
Hazel Boone Dance Studio is once again offering Summer Dance Camp for children of all ages. There is Mini Dance for ages 3-6, Dance Camp for ages 7-13 and Dance Intensive for more experienced dancers ages 14 and up. In addition to dance, the younger campers will also take part in arts and crafts and other activities. For more details visit the Hazel Boone Dance Studio website. Your child does not need to be a current Hazel Boone student to attend....what a great way to try out the studio!
The Canton Recreation Department's summer programs are in full swing, however, there are likely still openings for upcoming weeks. Offering a variety of programs from swimming lessons, arts and crafts, gymnastics, theater and more, there is sure to be something for your child. Details can be found on the Canton Recreation Department website.
