Why Go: BlumShapiro, New England’s largest regional accounting, tax and business consulting firm, will sponsor the 10th annual South Shore Hospital Friends of Growing Families Stroll for the Goal Fun Day. This yearly event helps support South Shore Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and pediatric care.
Price: Free.

Why Go: The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project helps keep beaches, rivers and lakes across America “barefoot friendly.” In 2012, Barefoot Wine and the Surfrider Foundation, along with community volunteers, are embarking on a tour of 25 cleanups nationwide, stopping in Boston. Following the cleanup, volunteers 21 and older are invited to attend a Surfrider-hosted celebration featuring Barefoot Wine and surf-inspired fare. Why Go: Interested in exposing your children to music lessons but you are not sure what instruments best fits them? At the Dedham School of Music's Instrument Petting Zoos, children and adults will have the opportunity to listen to and play a variety of instruments, including guitar, piano, strings, woodwinds, and brass. Come and enjoy an instrument demonstration and performance of our outstanding faculty.
