Canton Comes Together to Remember September 11

The town dedicated a new 9/11 memorial today.

Today, the to all of the nearly 3,000 victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks. At , the granite structure will ensure that the town will never forget. 

A special plaque honors former Canton resident Michael Uliano, who died in the attacks on .

Today, the town of Canton paid tribute to this CHS alum and Canton native, along with the nearly 3,000 other victims of the attacks, at this new place of honor.

The 9/11 memorial is located in Canton Center Cemetery next to the Iraq War Memorial, which is dedicated to Shayne M. Cabino of Canton and Franklin, who was 19 when he died in the Iraq War in 2005.
