Canton Obituary: Eleanor Aquilino, 87

Eleanor A. Aquilino (Rooney), 87, of Canton, passed away last week, Feb. 11 at Norwood Hospital.

Born and raised in Cambridge, she graduated from St. John’s High School in N. Cambridge. She worked for Met Life in Cambridge for seven years as a Clerk. She has lived in Canton since 1959 and previously lived in Newton.

Beloved wife of the late Daniel. Mother of James W. of Walpole, Michael J. of Brockton, Robert D. of Connecticut and Paul D. of Walpole. Sister of Marie R. DeLeo of Cambridge and the late Edward J. Rooney. Also survived by four grandchildren.

A funeral mass was held at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton on Thursday, Feb. 14. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
