Canton Obituary: Longtime Resident Catherine J. Ross, 90
A resident in Canton for more than half a century, Ross was a former telephone operator and homemaker, as well as a devoted parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church.
Catherine J. Ross (Hafferty), a resident of Canton for over 50 years, died Tuesday, Feb. 26 , following a long illness. She was 90 years old.
Catherine was a former telephone operator and homemaker. She was a devoted parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton for many years.
Devoted wife of the late George H. Ross. Loving mother of Kathleen E. Sheehan and her husband Thomas of Norwell, Michael W. Ross of Bellingham, and Timothy M. Ross and his wife Terri of Stoughton. Loving sister of the late William and Rita Hafferty. Proud grandmother of Jonathon and Matthew Sheehan.

Visiting hours Thursday, Feb. 28, from 4-7 p.m. in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman St., Canton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday March 1 at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park.
