Canton Patch Daily Dose for June 3

The Canton Board of Selectmen will be meeting Tuesday night.

1. BRING YOUR UMBRELLA-Today is going to feature showers and scattered thunderstorms, according to WHDH-TV. Temps are going to be the highs to the mid to upper 70s and it will still be humid. WHDH is also saying that heavy rain locally is possible with a lot of moisture in the air. 

2. SELECTMEN'S MEETING TUESDAY-The Canton selectmen will be meeting Tuesday, June 4, at 7 p.m. There will be discussion on Plymouth Rubber. Check out the agenda here. 

3. BUY A BAG OF BOOKS AT THE LIBRARY-The Friends of the Library's Annual Kids' Book Sale will be held June 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

4. MUSIC AT THE LIBRARY-The Open Book Coffeehouse will be held Saturday, June 15, at 7:30 p.m., featuring "Rambin" Dan Stevens. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for students with doors opening at 6:45 p.m.
