Friends of the Library and volunteers are distributing 700 free books throughout town.
Tonight is World Book Night in the United States, Ireland and England, but more importantly, in Canton.
Friends of the Canton Public Library president, Mike Sundin, has organized the effort to get over 700 free books into the hands of eager Canton readers by day's end.
