Canton Residents Mixed on How Town Responded to Blizzard

Readers responded on Facebook with their assessment of how officials in Canton responded to the storm.

It's been a few days since the Blizzard of 2013 wound down, but we wanted to get an idea from the view of residents in Canton how the town responded to the storm.

On the Canton Patch Facebook Page, we asked, for input as to how Canton responded to the storm and for readers to grade the town's efforts on cleanup. Here's how some readers responded:

  • Jonathan Flanagan: D
  • Billy Fitzpatrick: Huge storm and saw a lot of plows = A
  • Helyn Spierdowis: A. Everyone did a wonderful job on Neponset Street! Thanks!
  • Mike Bosco: Great job on Randolph St. and 138. Saw tons of plows to deal with the storm. Fire Dept. came to my door to tell me about a downed telephone wire that wasn't live that they were going to call in to the company. Very pleased with the towns response.
  • Sue Finnigan Desjardins: D. Other towns were down to bare streets.

What do you think? How did Canton respond to the storm? Were your roads plowed to your liking?
