Canton Seniors Learn About Brain Health

Orchard Cove hosted a Retirement University Class on "Maintaining Brain Fitness."

Keeping your brain in shape is important. That is what Dr. Robert Schreiber, physician in chief of Hebrew Rehabilitation Centers, told the seniors gathered at yesterday.

As part of the retirement community's "Retirement University," Schreiber addressed about 50 senior citizens on the topic of "Work it Out: Maintaining Your Brain Fitness." He discussed the importance of keeping brain function healthy as folks age and addressed the topics of dementia and alzheimer's disease.
