Crews Fix Water Main Break on Pecunit Street
Students at the Hansen School were released at 11 a.m. around the time of the incident.
Canton Water Department crews responded to a 12-inch water main break on Pecunit Street just in front of the Lawrence M. Walsh playground next to the Peter Hansen Elementary School on Tuesday, Feb. 5.
Students at the Hansen School was let out at 11 a.m. due to the break. Water could be seen bubbling up into the street, but the Canton Water Department repaired the break in a timely manner; the water was turned back on at noon.
