Jane Curtain, Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd and Gilda Radner appeared on television sets in the debut of "Saturday Night Live." After releasing two critically acclaimed albums, Bruce Springsteen had his first pop hit with "Born to Run."
3. Stay healthy. The Canton Board of Health will conduct a flu clinic at 1pm at Lamplight Village on Stagecoach Road.

5. Get involved. Canton Selectmen meet at 7pm in Memorial Hall to hear an update on the boil water order, to vote on an ambulance write-off policy and make appointment to various posts.
