Get Out: A Canton Patch Weekend Guide

Looking for something to do this weekend? Canton Patch helps you prepare for those long-awaited days off!

Our "Get Out" column is now replacing the Saturday "Weekend Happenings Around Town" column to allow you to get a head start on making those weekend plans. Let us know what you think and be sure to add your own weekend happenings to our events calendar.

The weekend will be here before you know it and there are lots of activities out there just waiting to be discovered. Whether we are in for sun or snow, there is sure to be something fun to do around Canton.

Annie the Musical   Theater lovers can watch the Little Theatre of Stoughton's production of "" which will be playing at the West Elementary School in Stoughton from February 11- 13 with evening performances at 7:30 p.m. and afternoon shows on Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

Project Playground Fundraiser Head to the Knights of Columbus in Canton Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. for a fun night of food, music and raffles to support the Luce School's Playground Fund.  Tickets are $35 each or $60 per couple.

Boston Baked Blues Feeling a little blue? The Ahavath Torah Congregation Blues Night is hosting on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. This Chicago-style R&B band has been working New England stages for nearly 25 years and they have been the recipients of the Boston Music Awards on several occasions.  Beer, wine and light refreshments will be on the menu.

Canton Prom Closet Have a Cinderella in need of a dress for the upcoming prom or semi-formal? For only $25 ladies can purchase a from the Prom Closet's beautiful selection of dresses, gowns and party attire. All proceeds go to the Canton High All Night Graduation Party. 

The JFK School Winter Fling Up for some winter fun on Saturday? The JFK School is holding its t from 10:oo a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Check out the raffles, games, sweet treats, crafts and photo booth. Come support the school and enjoy some fun and entertainment for the whole family.
