Get Out: A Canton Patch Weekend Guide for February 18-20

Looking for something to do this weekend? Canton Patch helps you prepare for those long-awaited days off!

Our "Get Out" column is now replacing the Saturday "Weekend Happenings Around Town" column to allow you to get a head start on making those weekend plans. Let us know what you think and be sure to add your own weekend happenings to our events calendar.

The weekend will be here before you know it and there are lots of activities out there just waiting to be discovered. Whether we are in for sun or snow, there is sure to be something fun to do around Canton.

Chair Massage at the Senior Center   Okay, the weekend is still a few days away but you could use a good massage to make you feel your best!  Kristen O’Reilly, licensed massage therapist, will be giving chair massages at the today from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please call 781-828-1323 for reservations.

Soup’s On!  will be hosting a soup luncheon on Friday, February 18 at noon. They will provide beverages and homemade soup, but feel free to bring a sandwich to munch on or some goodies to share with the group. 

Barnaby Bright at the Open Book Coffeehouse The Canton Public Library will be featuring the music of at their Open Book Coffeehouse this Saturday at 7:30 p.m., in the library’s Community Room.

Live Celtic Music at the Irish Cultural Centre  St. Patrick’s Day is a month away, but you do not have to wait until then to hear good Irish music. This event takes place every Saturday from 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. and is known for being the best “Craic” south of Boston. Full menu and bar at 7:00 p.m.

Hit the Slopes Kick off February vacation with the whole family and get your skiing and snowboarding fix at . Enjoy the powder while you can!
