Get Out: A Canton Patch Weekend Guide for March 4-6

Here are few ideas to help you plan your weekend.

Our "Get Out" column is now replacing the Saturday "Weekend Happenings Around Town" column to allow you to get a head start on making those weekend plans. Let us know what you think and be sure to add your own weekend happenings to our events calendar.

The weekend will be here before you know it and there are lots of activities out there just waiting to be discovered. Whether we are in for sun or snow, there is sure to be something fun to do around Canton.

Coffee House Brandon Grimes will be playing at the Coffee House on Saturday, March 5 at 7:00pm.  Coffee, soft drinks, and pastries will be sold at the performance. Please call the Temple office 781-828-2275 to make a reservation.  Admission is $10.

Pizza at the American Legion Post #24  The has pizza for take-out or eat-in on Thursday and Friday evenings from 5:00 p.m. -  10:00 p.m.

Brewery Tour at Blue Hills Stop by the for a complimentary tour and beer tasting held every Friday from 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Saturday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Tours are free!

“Snow in August” The first film of the Jewish Film Festival, "Snow in August" will be playing on Sunday, March 6 at 7:00pm.  A discussion will follow the screening of the film.  Admission is $7.

Monthly Mass & Breakfast at the Irish Cultural Centre The Irish Cultural Centre is offering their monthly on Sunday, March 6 at 11:00 a.m.  Admission is $10. For more information, please call 781-821-8291.
