Holiday Wishes from Columnist and Photographer Vanessa McManus:

Happy Holidays, Patch Readers! No matter what holiday you celebrate, this time of year is great for creatingand making memories new and old. As a child, I decorated a gingerbread house each year that my family would put on display for the month of December. This year, I wanted to continue the tradition with my children. Lily, age 3 1/2 did a great job carefully decorating the whole house while her 2-year-old brother, Jack, mostly helped himself to eating candy.Β  I wish all of you a Happy Holiday and a New Year full of joyous memories with your families and loved ones.
