It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Winter, Canton

More snow is heading towards Canton tonight and Saturday.

For many, has been kind up until this week. Through most of the winter, she has spared the Canton-area from shoveling, de-icing and thawing out. It seems like she may have changed her mind.

After about an inch of , making for a messy commute Tuesday morning, expect part two of winter tonight.

The National Weather Service issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for several counties in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. (Including Norfolk County.)

Expect "widespread snow showers tonight" with snow accumulations of about one to two inches, the NWS stated. Tonight's low temperature will be about 26 degrees.

"Given the recent cold weather, roads will become snow covered and slippery quickly," the NWS stated. "Snow showers may mix with rain along the south coast."

And, keep the ice melt out for Saturday. The NWS is predicting a snow-filled, wintry mix for the region on Saturday, during the day and the evening. The high will be 29 degrees and the low will be 20 degrees in Canton.
