Officials to Hold Public Hearing on Plymouth Rubber Proposal Tuesday Night

The meeting center around a recently-released impact report on the proposed project, and will take place at 7 p.m. in the Canton Public Library's community room.

Canton Friends, 

Recently, the Board of Selectman published a report that investigated potential impacts to the Town of Canton if the project proposed by the Napelton Company on the former Plymouth Rubber property were to be approved.

This project will include 64 Townhouse (for sale) dwellings in 15 buildings (all 2 bedrooms), 204 Apartment Units (for rent) in six buildings (1 and 2 bedroom units), and 80 Age Restricted Units (for sale or rent) in two buildings. 

Tomorrow, Tuesday April 9 at 7 p.m. in the Canton Library Community room, the Planning Board, the School Committee, and the Board of Selectman will host a PUBLIC HEARING.

This project will impact the town greatly and you will have a vote at Town Meeting. It is your responsibility as voters your right to know and understand what you will be voting on.
