Orange Leaf in Canton Holding a Froyo Festival Fundraiser for Youth Baseball and Softball

Saturday's event will raise money for the Canton Little League and the Girls Fast Pitch Softball.

On Saturday, April 27 get your froyo on!

Orange Leaf at 95 Washington Street in Cobbs Corner in Canton is having a Froyo Festival Fundraiser from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

The event is to raise funds for Canton Little League Baseball and Girls Fast Pitch Softball, which was founded over 30 years ago and run by 200 volunteer coaches.

The money raised will be used for special projects including building a new snackbar and restrooms at Sullivan/Crawford Field and constructing a new duggout at Duggan Field. New defibrillators will be purchased for all fields as well.

There will be live entertainment with local bands, face painting, balloon artists and a special appearance by some of the New England Patriots Cheerleaders. along with mascot Pat Patriot himself!

At 5:30 p.m. Orange Leaf will hand over a check (a giant check) for $1,000 and will be accompanied by the New England Patriots Cheerleaders.
