Port 305 Honors the 70th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor with the World Premiere of Saving the Reality

World War II Foundation's event to be hosted by journalist and former History Channel Host Josh Binswanger.

The is proud to announce that it will premiere a new documentary, Saving the Reality. The event is being held at Port 305 at Marina Bay in North Quincy at 6:30 p.m. on December 7–the 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor and America’s entrance into the war.

Saving the Reality chronicles the life work of renowned historian and collector Kenneth Rendell, owner and curator of the Museum of World War II in Natick, which houses the largest private collection of WWII artifacts in the world. The documentary was directed by filmmaker Tim Gray and narrated by Hollywood star Dan Aykroyd.

“Kenneth Rendell is the keeper of the flame,” says director Tim Gray. “He has spent decades seeking out incredible artifacts from the war which will help those interested in this world changing period in our history to better understand the conflict for generations to come.”

The gala event will be hosted by acclaimed journalist Josh Binswanger, award winning host of History Channel’s series Saving History. The event will feature a discussion with the filmmakers and veterans of Pearl Harbor, D-Day and the Battle for Iwo Jima. Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items which will include autographed mementos from the HBO series Band of Brothers and from members of the legendary 101st Airborne unit.
