TELL US: Your Thoughts About Jerry Sandusky's Sentence

The former Penn State University assistant football coach was sentenced to at least 30 years in prison Tuesday morning.

Former Penn State University assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky was sentenced to 30-60 years in prison Tuesday after being found guilty of 45 counts of child sexual abuse, according to a Hatboro-Horsham Patch report.

In the closed proceedings at the Centre County Courthouse, Judge John M. Cleland heard arguments from prosecutors, then the defense, then victims, and finally Sandusky, who had the last word before the sentence was given, according to Hatboro-Horsham Patch. Sandusky himself denied the allegations he faced.

In addition to the charges of child sexual abuse, Sandusky was convicted of molesting 10 boys over the course of 15-years. It was alleged that Sandusky used his charitable organization for troubled children as a way to locate boys to become his victims.
