Video of Judge Rotenberg Center Teen Being Restrained and Shocked Viewed in Court Yesterday

After being sealed for eight years, a judge allows video of teen being restrained and shocked at the Judge Rotenberg Center to be viewed in court yesterday.

After an eight year legal battle, a controversial video depicting a teen resident being restrained and shocked at the was allowed to be shown in court yesterday, according to myfoxboston.com.

The video, taken in 2002, was of Andre McCollins, 18-years-old at the time, being restrained and shocked. The incident was recorded by JRC classroom cameras.

It was sealed at the request of the Judge Rotenberg Center.

“I never signed up for him to be tortured, terrorized and abused,” Cheryl McCollins, Andre's mother, told the jury. “I had no idea, no idea, that they tortured the children in the school,” reported myfoxboston.com.
