2013 Halloween Costume Drive

With the average price of a Halloween costume nearing $25,
costumes have become a luxury that is often beyond the reach of many
family budgets. In an effort to make sure that every child can experience the
magic of Halloween,  FROM THE
PUMPKIN PATCH collects both used and new costumes and accessories to
be given away for FREE to low-income
children at an annual event held just prior to Halloween.

Each year, local residents have searched their
basements, attics, and garages for those costumes saved from when their now
college age child was a tot running around the neighborhood yelling “Trick or
Treat” and have donate hundreds of new and used
costumes, accessories, sports uniforms and costume jewelry to the
cause.



FLORAL SCENTS at 604 Washington
Street, Canton has volunteered to be a local drop off site. Bring in costumes, masks,
accessories, athletic uniforms, costume jewelry…anything you can think of that
will make a child excited to celebrate Halloween. Drop off deadline is OCTOBER 15th. Floral Scents
hours for drop off are Monday thur
Saturday 10am – 5pm.

2013 FROM THE PUMPKIN
PATCH Costume Giveaway will be held on October 27th at UMASS
