American Sign Language Classes

Attention

Canton area residents…..take part in this wonderful learning opportunity! Every

time teachers, public safety officials, and community leaders learn ASL the

world become a better SAFER place for all manual language users!

Sign Language Classes





A 6

week session of American Sign Language classes will be offered Thursday evenings

at the Judge Rottenberg Center in Canton beginning Oct. 3rd- Nov. 14th

( no class 10/31). Two beginner classes will be offered 5:00- 6:30 AND 6:30-8:00. This beginner level

program will introduce the fundamental of ASL. Attendees can expect to learn

about sentence structure, conversational sign, (vocabulary) and Deaf culture! A

certificate of completion, Professional Development Points and EMT/Paramedic

credits will be awarded at the last class. Those wishing to attend for reasons

pertaining to Deaf, hard of hearing or non-verbal family members will

NOT be placed on a waiting list.  The cost is $75.00 which includes all
