Porter and Chester is hosting a career day at its Canton campus on Jan. 7th, bringing those who attend the tools needed for success. The event is free and open to all community members.

  • Jay Blake, 7:00 p.m.


Motivational speaker and blind drag car racer Jay Blake will discuss the power of positive thinking, sharing his own experience about how he turned a personal tragedy that resulted in blindness into an opportunity to follow his dreams. Jay will be joined by his racing team and his National Hot Rod Association (NHRA)-approved racecar.


 


Hour-long career guidance seminars that will include resume building and interview techniques from Porter and Chester Career Services professionals:
