Make your home warm and inviting for Buyers. If you have a Fireplace now is the time to light a fire during showings or Open Houses. The key is to keep your home toasty and warm. You want the Buyers to visualize living there. A warm home invites them in. This is especially important if the property is empty. When a home is cold the Buyers rush through and it turns them off. The same applies in the summer the house should be cool and comfortable.

Lighting is key. Invest in timers if you need them. A dark home is not welcoming.

Keep decorations simple and not overpowering.

Barb Schwarz says " If you cannot see it, you cannot sell it." Keep your yard clean including snow, branches and leaves. Is the home well lit? Prepare the outside as well as the inside. Staging your home inside and outside is equally important.
