Friends of Norm Salter are seeking help paying costs related to his cancer treatment.
Salter was diagnosed with cancer in early 2013, according to his GoFundMe.com page. Patch has partnered with GoFundMe and is helping to highlight worthy campaigns in local communities.
In one month, 55 people have donated $5,810. The goal is $10,000.

"We are hoping that we can raise some money to help him and his family with some of their expenses while Norm is out of work. Norm is a great human being who we have all come to know and love. Please give what you can, it will mean so much to him and his family to take some of the weight off of their bills. Let's show Norm how much he is loved!"
