Five Things You Need to Know: Monday, Aug. 27: At Canton Library

1. If you're looking for something fun to do today, the Canton Library, as of Sunday night, had passes available to Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, Museum of Fine Arts and Plimouth Plantation.

2. Project Connect/MSPCC Support Group will be meeting at library art and activities room at 6:30-8:30 p.m.

3. There will be a free public college planning workshop at the library community room from 7-8:30 p.m.

4. It's getting time to make room on your book shelves. The Canton Library's The Friends' 22nd Annual Book Sale, Saturday, Sept. 8, from 10-1 p.m., followed by the $5 Power Bag Power Hour from 2-3 p.m.

5. It's going to be a nice day to read outside with the temperatures expected to reach 83 under partly cloudy skies, according to weather.com. It will be 69 with scattered thunderstorms.
