Five Things You Need to Know Today: November 29

Fog, biking and jobs for vets.

1. Prepare for rain overnight. Fog today will turn to heavy rain tonight.

2. Consider our history. This day in 1981 Natalie Wood drowned off Catalina Island in California. The 43 year old film actor spent the night on the sailing yacht The Splendor with her husband Robert Wagner and Christopher Walken. Her body was found in the morning. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department recently re-opened the investigation into her death.

3. Consider our 1960s history. This date in 1963, President Lyndon Johnson formed the Warren Commission to investigate the assassination of John Kennedy. This date in 1967, Robert McNamara resigned as Secretary of Defense. He had overseen the Vietnam War.
