Meet Hef! He has been living at the Canton Animal Shelter for over six months. Hef was turned in because his owner had too many cats and it was too much work.
When Hef went to get neutered the vets noticed a scratch on his belly so he had to be quarantined in our shelter for six months. During that time we have grown to love him very much and he is the king around here. He is definitely a person in a cat body! He likes hugs and loves to play. He gets along great with kittens but is not a fan of adult cats.
Hef likes to feel like the boss. He is very curious and wants to know what is going on at all times. He does have a medical issue that will need future care and maintenance. He has asthma and may possibly need a specific cat inhaler. More details can be provided for you.
