The snow and power outages did not keep these little princesses, lambs and firemen from trick-or-treating at The Village Shops.

The wicked winds, on the ground could not keep Little Bo Peep, Batman and Mickey Mouse from Sunday. A brave crowd of bundled up little ones ran from store to store to score candy, stickers and treats, despite .

Although Canton's Halloween Parade was cancelled due to the weather, along with the Canton Fall Classic road race, the show went on at the Village Shops. It was a far scarcer crowd than in years past, and several shops were closed on the ends of the shopping plaza due to not having electricity. However, lots of parents and children in their winter gear went from store to store to pick up their candy, despite the snow piles in the parking lot.

Hilliard's, The Village Toy Shop, Snip-Its, Verizon and Romanza, among other open shops, gave out stickers, candy and treats to the trick-or-treaters.
