LIFE MIGHT HAVE GOTTEN IN THE WAY THIS WEEK

Week # 2, BLOG #2--what did you learn fromobserving your behaviors for one week? The fun starts now! Read on to see more....

OK--it's been a few days....you were asked to become A W A R E and take a look at your habits, patterns and behaviors over the past week. What did you discover?? Hmmm...ponder... you may now have some insightful revelations as to why things don't happen as you wished or dreamed...maybe life just got in the way or your health and "taking care of you" was not the priority of the day. It's easy to go to work or take care of the kids or be involved with your community and forget about YOU!! So did you forget to eat? Were you so busy and then so starving that you ate the first thing you saw and perhaps too much of it? Were you eating the kids leftovers because you didn't have time to sit and make a meal for yourself? Were you dining out at lunch (as you do daily pretty much) because you didn't plan a lunch.

It could really be anything, couldn't it. Sometmes "life just gets in the way" or sometimes we just don't plan ahead. Even though we need to eat every day--more than one meal a day..the simple aspect of planning our meals or putting forethought into what we are doing escapes most of us.

Not to worry, though....we are going to take our new A W A R E "ness" and become really " K O O L " this week. You are already 'kool' but now you will become a "keen observer of life." This was a technique passed along by Dick Dillingham, a mentor, coach and great leader in Keller Williams. He asked us to purposefully observe. So, to reiterate, this week you will be "K O O L." You will focus on the planning aspects of living a healthy lifestyle. What does it involve? What tools do you need to be successful? What systems do you ned to havein place? What food needs to be in the house? What food needs to be out of the house? containers? spices? Let's examine EVERYTHING--from home to work to clubs to social events...what do you need to do to "plan ahead, think ahead" to be successful at supporting your goal of living a healthy lifestyle.

So, forge ahead and BE KOOL this week! It really is the ideal weigh (smile)
