BLOG: Pets of the Week - Archer & Pearl

Lovable and friendly declawed cats, Archer and Pearl, need a home where they can stay together.

Pearl and Archer are a very friendly and affectionate, mild-mannered, declawed brother and sister pair. They are about 9 years old. They have been well cared for throughout their lives and have always been strictly indoor cats. They are devoted to each other and will be happiest in a home where they can stay together. Archer is the black & white male. He has tons of personality and is very social. He loves to be petted and is super friendly. Pearl is the pretty calico. She lets her brother be the boss but she is never far behind. Archer and Pearl have lived in the same home since they were kittens. They are accustomed to an adult only home but are fine with gentle children. They were not permitted to sleep in the human bed in their former home, but Archer and Pearl have their own bed and they love snuggling together. They are both very loving and gentle cats. Sadly their former owners travel too much and no longer have time to care for pets. Archer and Pearl are two or the nicest, most well-adjusted declawed cats we have ever met. They will be loving and devoted companions for some lucky adopter.

In an effort to encourage local senior adopters to share your home with senior cats, NVHS provides after adoption support, including medical care, for our mature cats. Archer and Pearl just need someone to love and care for them. Please call Neponset Valley Humane Society at 781-769-1990 or email nvhumanesociety@gmail.com to arrange a meeting with Archer and Pearl.

Other Humane Society News: NVHS has many wonderful cats in need of families to love and call their own. Visit our website, neponsethumane.org to see all our fabulous felines waiting to be adopted. The Humane Society is in need of a volunteer to help feed a small managed group of feral cats in Norwood. Please call or email if you are interested in this volunteer position. Help stop pet overpopulation by spay/neutering your pet. If you need assistance getting your cat spayed/neutered, contact NVHS. NVHS is an all volunteer organization.
