Canton Obituary: Anne Hughes, 98
A celebration of the life of Hughes, an Assistant Reference Librarian at the Canton Library for many years, will be held Monday morning in Canton.
Anne Hughes (Szewc), 98, of Canton, passed away at the Hellenic Nursing Home on Feb. 6
Born in Fall River, she was raised in Detroit, Michigan and has resided in Canton for 54 years. She was the Assistant Reference Librarian at the Canton Public Library for many years. Loving mother of William of California, Thomas of Marshfield, Robert of New Hampshire and Anne Semler of Canton. Also survived by eight grandchildren.
Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church, Canton Monday at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hour prior to the mass Monday morning from 9-10 a.m. at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home in Canton. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery, Canton.
