Canton Obituary: Dorothy Doe, 94

Dorothea M. Doe (Doolan), 94, of Canton passed away Jan. 1, 2013, at the Hellenic Nursing home in Canton.

Born and raised in Boston, Doe attended Boston Schools and was a devoted homemaker. She has lived in Canton since 1963; she was a member of the Canton Catholic Women’s Club, the Canton Garden Club and was a volunteer at the Norwood Hospital for many years.

Beloved wife of the late Robert H. Sr. Mother of Barbara Ferrazzani and her husband Paul of Norwood, Robert H., Jr. and his wife Louise of North Carolina, Phyllis Gada and her husband Edward of Connecticut and Eleanor-Jean Doe Cohen of Carver. Sister-in-law of Lucy T. Doe of W. Yarmouth and Helenmarie Doe Diamond of Norfolk. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13-and-a-half great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home in Canton on Sunday, Jan. 6, from 2-6 p.m. A funeral mass at will take place at St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton on Monday, Jan. 7 at 10 a.m. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
