Canton Obituary: Eleanor Russo, 89

Eleanor T. Russo (Trupasso), 89, of Canton passed away on Monday, Oct. 15, at the New England Sinai Hospital, according to CurrentObituary.com.

Born in Everett, Russo was raised in Revere and graduated from Revere High School. She has lived in Canton for the last 27 years and previously lived in Winchester. She was a member of the Canton Catholic Women’s Club, Wampatuk Country Club, Former member of the Winchester Women’s Sons of Italy.

Russo worked as a Sales Associate for Jordan Marsh for many years before retiring. Beloved wife of the late James J. Sr. Mother of James J. Jr and his wife Joy of Mansfield. Sister of Anthony Trupasso of N. Andover and the late Frank Trupasso, Elizabeth Renna, Ann Russell and Josephine Papp. Grandmother James W. of California, Michael J. and his wife Courtney of Swampscott and Joseph P. and his wife Amanda of California. Also survived by four great grandchildren and her former daughter in law Susan Poirier of Walpole.

Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home in Canton on Friday from 4-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist ChurchCanton on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
