Canton Obituary: Floyd Teague, 75

Teague was the former owner of Bolivar Tire in Canton and was a supporter of the American Legion Post #24. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in Canton on Tuesday morning.

Floyd A. Teague, 75, a lifelong resident of Canton, passed away on Friday, Sept. 28, at the Golden Living Center in Norwood, according to CurrentObituary.com.

Born and raised in Canton, Teague was the son of the late Floyd and Louise Teague. He graduated from Canton High School and was a Veteran of the United States Navy.

Teague was the former owner of Bolivar Tire in Canton and was a supporter of the American Legion Post #24 in Canton and a member of the Norwood Senior Bowling League. He will be missed by his loving companion of many years Joanne Dolan of Norwood.

Beloved father of Teresa Kincade & her husband Robert of Canton, Floyd Teague III of Raynham, Cheryl Davey and her husband Paul of Plymouth, Donna Guertin and her husband Lee of Sutton and Matthew Teague and his wife Paula of AZ. Brother of Anne Doody of Canton, Elaine Ares of Foxboro, and Joseph Teague and his wife Florence of S.C. Grandfather of Hillary, Wayne, Kristina, Sean, Merideth, Katlyn, Devin, Riley, Peter and Nathan. Also survived by his former wife June (O’Brien) Teague of NY.

Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home in Canton on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4-8 p.m. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
