Canton Obituary: Grace Jane Comer

Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of Grace's Life, Friday morning at 10:30 a.m., at Saint John the Evangelist Church, Washington Street, Canton.

Grace Jane (Findlen) Comer, formerly of Canton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 6 at her residence at Whitney Place in Natick, surrounded by her loving family, according to CurrentObituary.com.

Beloved wife of of the late George B. Comer, formerly of Canton, Grace met her husband of 45 years while both served in the Navy at Pearl Harbor after the start of World War II.

Throughout her life, Grace's great energies were always directed to supporting and loving her family and friends, both immediate and extended. Wherever she lived or visited she made lifelong friends and everyone who met her found friendship and support.

She is survived by her two children, Peggy Comer of North Carolina, and Kevin and his wife, Elisabeth, of Wayland, as well as five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Grace's life on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Saint John the Evangelist Church on Washington Street in Canton. Interment with Honors will follow at the Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

Visiting hours will be held at the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman St. in Canton on Thursday from 4-6 p.m.
