John D. Jenkins, Jr., 56, of Brockton and formerly of Canton, passed away suddenly Friday, Nov. 9 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, according to CurrentObituary.com.
Born in Norwood, he was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School Class of 1974 and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was the Past Grand Knight of the K of C Council #2095 in Canton and a frequent volunteer for the Special Olympics.
Jenkins worked as a driver for TLC Transportation in Canton amd was a Counselor for GROW in Randolph. Beloved son of John D. Sr. of Canton & the late Anna H. (Walker). Brother of Mary K. Carr and her husband John of Canton, Theresa Coffey and her husband Gary of Florida, William P. and his wife Ann of Stoughton, Eileen Jenkins-Clardy and her husband Jeff of Canton and the late Frederick J. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home in Canton on Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 3-7 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Thursday morning at 10. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
