Canton Obituary: Katherine DiMarzio, 95

Katherine G. DiMarzio, 95, of Canton passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5 at the Norwood Hospital.

Born and raised in Hyde Park, DiMarzio attended Boston Schools and has lived in Canton for the last 55 years. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed spending time at the Canton Senior Center. She was a devoted house wife and mother and worked as a Seamstress.

Beloved wife of the late Victor P. Mother of the late Paula Donlan and Helen Smart. Sister of Anna Gangemi of Hyde Park, Sister Lourdette Gangemi OP of South Boston, Peter Gangemi of Sandwich and the late Frank, Joseph, Charlie, Tony, Sam and Esther. Grandmother of Michelle Lynch and her husband David of Canton, Kimberly Denney and her husband Robert of North Andover, Kelly Kaplan and her husband Howard of Boston, and Victor Smart and his wife Lauren of New Hampshire. Great grandmother of Kathryn and Emily Lynch, Camilla and Jake Denney and Jacoby Reed.

Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St., in Canton on Sunday, Dec. 9 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Monday morning at 10 am. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton.
