Canton Obituary: Lucienne M. Dorian

Mrs. Lucienne M. Dorian lived in Canton for more than 56 years.

Lucienne M. Dorian of Canton, formerly of Somerville and Boston, died June 8 2013. She was 85 years old.

Born in Marseille, France she came to the U.S. as a teenager. She was a resident of Canton for more than 56 years and worked as a teacher for the Cotting School in Lexington for over 25 years,

She was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed sewing, cooking, craftmaking, and “Children’s Day” at the United Church of Christ in Canton.

She was the daughter of the late Jean and Marguerite Mississian, devoted wife of the late Joseph M. Dorian, loving mother of Gail Geromini and her husband Timothy of Franklin and Linda Dorian of Stoughton, loving grandmother of Kara and Timothy Geromini, Christopher Sutherby, and Lauren Dorian.

Visiting hours are in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman St., Canton, Thursday from 6-9 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the United Church of Christ 1541 Washington St., Canton Friday, June 14, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the Knollwood Memorial Park.
