Canton Obituary: Lydia G. Milne
Former Canton resident Lydia G. Milne passed away suddenly at the age of 59.

Lydia G. Milne, age 59 of Newton, and formerly of Canton, passed away suddenly July 11.
Born in Boston, she was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High Class of 1972.
She went on to graduate from Bates College in Maine and received her Master’s in Project Management from Brandeis University.
She formerly worked as a Project Manager for Computer Science Corp and various other consulting companies in the Boston area, and most recently she was teaching Project Management at Brandeis University.
She has lived in Newton since 1978 and was a member of the Congregational Church in Wellesley.
Lydia enjoyed sailing, skiing, travelling, spending time with her family and taking family vacations to Maine.
Loving daughter of the late Gladys L. (Kline) and John G. Milne. Beloved sister of Jeffrey J. and his wife Joyce of Franklin, Bruce W. and his wife Cora of Two Rivers, AK and Roger W. and his wife Kathleen of Canton. Also survived by 5 nieces and 2 nephews.
Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St. in Canton, Thursday 4-8 p.m. Funeral service at the United Church of Christ in Canton, Friday morning at 11 a.m. Burial at Canton Corner Cemetery.
