Canton Obituary: Stathis Rempelakis, 82

Rempelakis died on Tuesday, Sept. 25 in Boston.

Stathis J. Rempelakis, 82, of Framingham and formerly of Canton, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, in Tufts Medical Center in Boston following a brief illness, according to a recent obituary on CurrentObituary.com

Born in Boston, Rempelakis attended local schools. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Corporal in the 955 Field Artillery Battalion in Korea. Upon returning, he attended the Massachusetts College of Art where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. He was employed as a graphic artist for the Dennison Corporation in Framingham for many years. He enjoyed designing and building furniture and painting portraits.

Beloved brother of Kallie Rempelakis of Canton, and Emmanuel Rempelakis and his wife Eve of Littleton. Beloved uncle of Peter Rempelakis and his wife Merle of Roslindale, John Rempelakis and his wife Lynne of Haverhill, Amy Davis and her husband Scott of Natick, and Julia Abruzzese and her husband John of Littleton. Beloved friend of Bob and Bill Curran of Boylston. Stathis is also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews and many cousins here and in Greece and Crete.
