Obituary: Florence (Gray) Skotnicki

Florence (Gray) Skotnicki, 91 of Canton, died at Colonial Rehabilitation in Weymouth on June 9. Born and raised in Boston Florence graduated from South Boston High School. She went on to work for The Boston Gas Company for many years.

Beloved wife of the late Chester V. “Scotty,” Florence was the loving mother of Beverly A. and her husband Alain Brunier of Paris, France, s ister of Margaret Hughes and her husband Joe of Weymouth, Helen Henderson of FL, and James Gray of Boston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass is at St. Gerard Majella Church on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation is in the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St., Canton, Wednesday prior to the Mass from 8:30-9:30 am. Interment is in Knollwood Memorial Park.
