Escape for Life is Good Festival

Tickets on sale now for Life is Good Festival September 24-25 at Prowse Farm.

Each week Canton Patch will tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break and escape from it all by visiting local hotspots and area events. Each Great Escape feature is meant to make your life a little easier, and maybe even a bit more exciting and fun by discovering new places and things to do locally.

The is returning to Canton’s again this year for September 24 and 25 and it is not too early to get your tickets.

The is two days filled with music, activities, fun and fundraising for a great cause. Proceeds from ticket sales will go directly toward helping children overcome life-threatening challenges like violence, illness and extreme poverty, so you can even feel good that you are contributing just by buying your tickets.

With three stages of live music performances going on at the same time, there is something for everyone. Headliners include Ray LaMontagne and The Avett Brothers, along with musical appearances from Michael Franti and Spearhead, The Levon Helm Band, Brandi Carlile and many more.

The is also a great escape for the kids in the family. One of the three music stages is geared just toward the little ones with performances featuring The Imagination Movers, Laurie Berkner Band and more.

Beyond all the music there will also be plenty of hands-on activities and spectator events. From games like tug-o-war, sack races and obstacle courses to arts and crafts, face painting, and a dog show there is no shortage of ways to entertain the children this weekend.

Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased online here. Adult tickets are $65 for one day or $120 for both days. A kid’s admission ticket (for ages 2-12) will run you $20 for one day or $35 for both days of the concert. Kids under two are free. There is an additional service charge of $10 ($5 for kids tickets) that will be donated towards the fundraising cause.
