Letter to the Editor: Canton Youth Commission Thanks Residents

To the Editor,

Thank you everyone for such a wonderful evening at our end of summer . We had over seventy Canton kids in sixth, seventh and eighth grades attend the event held at the Town Pool. This event would not have been possible without the Youth Commissioners in attendance.

A big thank you also goes out to Youth Commissioners Dorice Khoury, Brian Greenwood, and Meg Kennedy for providing the initial set up support. Also, we would not have received the tremendous turnout without the help of our Canton Police Department liaison , the Canton School Department, the Canton Recreation Commission, Recreation Director , and Town Pool Director , her team of lifeguards and the Town Hall senior workers.

With the success of this event, the Youth Commission will be planning more great events to benefit the future of Canton. We encourage all interested in the work of the to find us on the town website or on Facebook.
