Canton Man and Sharon Woman Allegedly Involved in Burglary Ring

Sharon Police charged the duo in July 19 house break.

A Canton man and a Sharon woman arrested in New Hampshire last week allegedly were involved in a burglary ring there and in Massachusetts, the Associated Press reported Tuesday.

Salem, N.H. Police said "would steal items in one state, then pawn the stolen goods in the other state," according to the AP.

However, told the Sharon Patch they are charging the duo only with a . Arrest warrants for the two suspects were issued.

In that incident, Sharon Police charged both Busa, 26, and Boraks, 22, with breaking and entering daytime with intent to commit a felony, attempt to commit a crime (larceny), obstruction of justice and conspiracy to commit a crime.

The homeowners returned around 1 p.m. and found that doors were unlocked "and a large amount of jewelry and a laptop (computer) were missing," police said. Officer Steven Fontes found the items in a backpack near the rear door after Detective Kevin Bishop joined him at the scene.

"The current investigation into (the suspects') potential involvement with others is ongoing," Sharon Police said.

Sharon Police last month listed the suspects both at 176 Pond St. in Sharon. Salem Police said Busa resides in Canton and Boraks in Sharon.

Salem, N.H. Police arrested Busa and Boraks last Friday in the La Quinta Inn and Suites Salem parking lot there.

Sharon Police had notified Salem Police that the two wanted suspects were believed to be in Salem.

Salem Police said they executed search warrants for the suspects' vehicle and hotel room. They recovered thousands of dollars worth of items they believe were stolen including cash, jewelry, watches, a silver set, prescription medication, iPods, cell phones, cameras and other items, according to police. Police said they also recovered heroin and other drug paraphernalia.

Salem Police charged Busa with being a fugitive from justice, possession of heroin and receiving stolen property. Boraks was charged with being a fugitive from justice, possession of heroin, receiving stolen property and burglary.

As of Monday, the suspects were held with no bail pending hearings in Salem District Court.
